Therapy Services

As we move through stages, or seasons of life, we may experience a disruption in what seems most normal and familiar to us.  Stress, along with a range of emotions such as depression or anxiety may follow and become unmanageable.  Growing In Hope Counseling is here to help clients transform how they perceive their lives as they grow in hope for their future.

I work with adults (ages 20+) with a range of problems, including depression, anxiety, trauma, aging, and major life transitions, among others.  I am certified in trauma and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).  I rely primarily on my training in Trauma, Somatic therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), depending on the needs of the client.  Regardless of whether these acronyms are familiar or seem as if you're reading a foreign language, simply put, I enjoy seeing others work through the healing process and gain insight about their lives.

Special interests:

Trauma (Single event or Ongoing traumas)

Adults of Childhood Trauma

First Responders

Somatic ("body") techniques

I love what I do! I will meet you where you are during this process without judgment and will help you find a better fit if a referral is needed.

I offer a free phone consultation for those who may have questions about whether therapy (or me) may be a good fit for them. Sessions are 55 minutes. I also offer virtual services, when appropriate, to clients as an alternative to in-person sessions.

I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone.  If I'm unable to accommodate you, I may make referrals to other community resources.
